Arielle is at home in Hindeloopen, this absolutely gorgeous Dutch village at the IJsselmeer, where most of the houses date back from the 17th and 18th century. In those days people here lived mainly from fishing. Today we have to lock through at Kornwerderzand, in order to set out to the Wadden Sea and the North Sea, as a dyke was built in the 1930s to prevent flooding during spring tides.
